Rustic Concrete Worktops

Designed for a client seeking a genuine architectural concrete aesthetic, this project celebrates the raw beauty of handcrafted concrete.

The worktops were cast at a substantial 50mm thickness, giving the kitchen a strong architectural presence. To achieve the desired appearance, we developed a bespoke colour blend using three of our concrete colours, producing rich tonal variations across the surface.

To further enhance the authenticity of the piece, selected aggregates were carefully exposed around the corners and edges. The stone inclusions were intentionally restrained, adding texture and character while allowing the concrete's movement and colour variation to remain the focal point.

The worktop and upstand were cast as a seamless element, the finished result is a bold yet refined concrete kitchen that perfectly balances raw industrial character with contemporary design.
